Inside POLARIN #8
|
|
The past months have seen POLARIN continue to bring the polar research community closer together through access, collaboration, and shared knowledge. We launched our first Transnational Access call for core repositories and were encouraged by the strong response to the second TA call, reflecting the community’s strong interest in open and inclusive access to polar infrastructures. The new POLARIN GIS platform aims to serve as a tool for strengthening research planning. Our latest Ambassador blog post offers first-hand reflections on working in a rapidly warming Arctic environment. At the AAORIA Forum 2025, POLARIN showcased EU transnational access projects as a success story for connecting researchers across borders and enhancing polar research. Recordings from recent webinars and events are now available to researchers who want to learn more about the POLARIN RI network and how to plan and deliver successful field campaigns.
