On 9 November 2026, 18:00–19:00, POLARIN will be represented by its Coordinator, Dr. Veronica Willmott Puig, in the panel discussion “Antarctica and the Global Climate: Science, Infrastructure and Cooperation” at the Cryosphere Pavilion.

The session will explore how sustained observations, research infrastructures and international cooperation can strengthen Antarctic science and make it more useful for climate decision-making.

POLARIN will contribute its perspective on shared access to polar research infrastructures and collaborative research, alongside Türkiye’s Antarctic research.
