March–July have been busy and productive months for POLARIN, with key milestones and deliverables achieved.
|
POLARIN held its Retreat and Annual General Assembly in April in Bologna, hosted by the National Research Council of Italy. It also organised webinars on polar fieldwork planning and virtual access to polar research. At the Arctic Science Summit Week, POLARIN hosted an in-person session highlighting collaboration and access opportunities and supported the EU Polar Cluster workshop, "Polar Science Beyond Projects: Legacy, Policy, and Impact", organised by the European Polar Coordination Office. The project also developed an article for the POLARIN Data Hub.

Ambassadors from the first Transnational Access (TA) call, Arctic project ARC-LINK and Antarctic projects FLAIR, PathoPast, and WhiteIce shared their experiences through blogs, photographs, and visual stories.
|
|
The second POLARIN TA call (Autumn 2025) selected 36 projects. Looking ahead, the Third TA call opens on 1 September 2026 and closes on 29 October 2026 at 16:00 CET. An online brokerage event for prospective applicants will take place on 7 September.
